I love taking classes for the same reason as you plus the comraderie amongst the class is great!

I've never taken a spin class. Always been a bit scared of that one. Go girl! I wish you the best!

Peace,
ChocolateOrchidChocolateOrchidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06012098213623493976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8094190866247927416.post-37936987377284171512010-01-12T02:21:49.896-05:002010-01-12T02:21:49.896-05:00This is an inspiring challenge! I'm going to make a point of doing them every day for 60 days. Today counts as day one. :D I have my first ever half-marathon on March 7th (in Disneyworld of all places!) so this challenge will definitely help make me strong for that race, and carry me on into the recovery phase afterwards. Thanks for sharing!

Oh - and the pilates gal also told me that I have separated abdominals muscles. She recommended some specific pilates moves that would help them heal/grow back to where they were - or at least close the gap. She made a point of saying traditional abdominal work stresses separated muscles in a way that can make the separation worse. I'd be careful to listen closely to your body and try to discern the difference between "ouch - that was a good workout" and "something is wrong here." Let me know if you need more info on the moves she recommended for diastis recti.Becca Sue Congdonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734179830053160745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8094190866247927416.post-27732830227018111512010-01-11T22:45:18.324-05:002010-01-11T22:45:18.324-05:00I love it this challenge! More because of my diet. I have learned that the gym is more about fitness maintenance and mental stress reliever.

SO far this year, I have done pole dancing, yoga, spin, total body conditioning, cardio ball, treadmill 20min, zumba, and powerdance. Note it is only January 11!!! I will join you on this starting Jan 21 (vacation. Hopefully, I will learn from your commitment!Sariane Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17675556880902582538noreply@blogger.com
