As I continue to celebrate my blog's two-year anniversary, I offer the chance for one person to win a copy of Kristen Suzanne's Easy Raw Holidays! November and December are full of holidays to celebrate with family and friends. But let's be honest, it's also about eating too much food. Temptations are everywhere. If you're not prepared, you could eat too much, gain weight, and feel bloated. Come January, you'll promise yourself to hit the gym. Why not learn how to prepare awesome raw food you can eat?

favorite holiday food is most desserts (does that count?). being the only vegan in my family, dessert has always been a dish that i could share with the gang. i love how chocolate brings a family together :)

Stuffing! My strongest memories of Thanksgiving include waking up to the scent of celery and onions sizzling in butter, as my mom prepped the stuffing. Mmm...
I made my first raw stuffing this year (Elaina Love's recipe) and it is pretty yummy. No butter scent, but some things are OK just being a cherished memory. They don't all have to be re-lived. :)

Dressing and Cranberry Sauce mixed together.

Hmmm, this is hard. I love so much and since I'm a new vegan. It's going to be an exciting journey coming up with something I would deem a favorite. So, for now I'll say "Orange & Ginger Cranbrerries".

Cornbread stuffing, lemon cake, and sweet potato casseroe

My favorite holiday food is probably candied sweet potatoes. It was my mom's pies, but since I'm gluten-free now, I don't have a pie crust that I like as much as hers. But you're right; the holidays is also about eating too much, and after the last couple of days, I know my body wants me to go back to healthier eating!
